    • Forced Air
      In a forced air system, the gas furnace produces heat in the heat exchanger and forces the warm air into a duct system and distributes it through the vents in each room. These systems produce a steady flow of warm air and use less energy than other systems, making them energy efficient.
    • Hydronic
      Hydronic systems use water as a medium to distribute heat and are commonly referred to as a boiler. The water is heated and then distributed to baseboards or radiators that radiate heat into the room.
    • Direct Vent
      These units are ductless can be installed on any outside wall and can heat the whole house. A non-vented wall unit can be installed in an individual room to heat only that space.
    • Combo
      A Combo unit provides heat for the home as well hot water. It heats the water in coils in an air handler that is then distributed to each room and the same hot water is supplied at the tap. These units tend to be easy to install and need a direct vent.

    • Vented Log sets
      Vented log sets are the least expensive and easiest to install fireplace equipment of the many types. They can be installed into a wood burning fireplace and get vented through the flue, making them more decorative and less efficient.
    • Inserts
      Insets are self-contained units that get installed in an existing fireplace and are vented up the existing flue with an approved liner installed. These units can provide a source of supplemental heat.
    • Factory Built
      These units do not need an existing fireplace or chimney to be installed in most rooms. They come in a variety of configurations which make them great for a remodeling project or new construction. Depending on the venting options you choose, they can provide supplemental heat in the room.
    • Freestanding Stoves
      These are self-contained units that resemble an old-fashioned wood burning stove. They can take place of an existing wood burning stove if a flue liner or gas vent is installed in the chimney. They can provide a great source of heat into the room and come in many styles and colors.

    • Storage water heaters
      These unit’s range in size from 20 gallons to 80 gallons. They use a storage tank and the water is heated by a burner on the bottom. The water is continuously heated to a certain temperature and is on standby whenever hot water is needed.
    • Condensing Storage Water Heaters
      These unit’s are more energy efficient that regular storage water heaters. Instead of venting the combusted gases, they use those gases to reheat the water.
    • Tankless Water Heaters
      A tankless unit heats water only when the hot water is called for, making this unit the most efficient of all. There is no constant heating of stored water. The unit also takes up far less room than that of a stored water unit. Careful sizing considerations must be made when choosing these, as they are limited to how much hot water can be produced at any given time. It is important if you are considering this type of unit, you check with your gas supplier to verify your pressure supply before you purchase the unit.

    A standby gas generator can provide you all the power you want in case of an electric outage. Whether you are working from home or run a business that cannot afford any power interruptions, on-site power generation is a must.
    These units are installed permanently outdoors and usually include an automatic transfer switch. The transfer switch continually monitors utility power and if it detects and outage, it starts the generator and transfers your home or businesses electric load to the generator. When the power comes back on the transfer switch reverses the process.

    Gas generators have much higher pressure demands than typical gas equipment, so it is very important to check with your gas supplier to verify you have enough pressure available to supply such a large piece of equipment before making a purchase.
